Nestled in the heart of Riviera Maya the Iberostar Paraiso complex has been a big favorite of ours for many years now, offering an amazing set of properties, on one of the nicest beaches in the area. Between Beach & Del Mar having one of the largest pools in the Riviera Maya, Lindo & Maya with it’s water park, wave pool, & lazy river, and Grand with it’s luxurious adults only villas – this complex really has something for everyone. The only thing that’s been lacking over the years have been the rooms, which have needed a bit of an update. The rooms have always been clean & spacious, and the entire complex offers guaranteed-connecting 2-bedroom family rooms, which is a huge plus. Although over the years we’ve heard more and more people mentioning the desire for some room renovations.
Well, Iberostar has finally listened and rolled out room renovations at both Iberostar Selection Paraíso Maya Suites and Iberostar Selection Paraíso Lindo! We’ve got all you need to know about these, including video tours of both the new renovated rooms!
Iberostar Paraiso Maya
Iberostar Paraiso Maya Room Renovations:
- Buildings 60, 61, 62 at Paraiso Maya have been renovated as of November 2023.
- Buildings 63 & 64 renovations will be done by the end of December 2023.
- When we toured the resort at the end of October, they had already started to place guests in the top floor of building 64.

Iberostar Paraiso Lindo Room Renovations:
- Buildings 55 and 54 at Paraiso Lindo are currently being renovated and should be done by end of December 2023.
- The remainder of the renovations will be done in 2024. If they do it at the same schedule as they did Maya, the remainder of the buildings will be done at the end of 2024.
